Butur, Obor sejahtera.com – Seorang warga paruh baya berinisial LT dari Desa Labuko ditemukan meninggal dunia, diduga setelah diserang ular pyton sepanjang kurang lebih enam meter, di kebun perbatasan Labuko–Lasiwa pada Minggu malam (1/3/2026).
Menurut keluarga korban, Ken Arok, korban dan isterinya menginap di kebun mereka. Sekitar pukul 20.00 WITA, korban izin kepada isterinya untuk kembali ke kampung membeli kebutuhan pondok dengan jarak sekitar 3 kilometer, namun hingga pagi ia tidak kembali.
Keesokan harinya seorang warga yang hendak memindahkan sapi menemukan parang dan senter tergeletak di lokasi.
“Barangnya ada, tapi orangnya tidak terlihat. Kami langsung curiga,” ujar seorang saksi.
Saat dilakukan pencarian, korban ditemukan sudah tidak bernyawa di samping ular pyton besar. Warga kemudian membunuh ular tersebut dan mendapati enam luka bacokan di tubuhnya yang diduga korban sempat melakukan perlawanan sebelum akhirnya tumbang.
Peristiwa ini meninggalkan duka mendalam bagi keluarga korban sekaligus menjadi peringatan bagi masyarakat agar lebih waspada saat beraktivitas di kebun, terutama pada malam hari.(sdr)
